About
Hi, I’m Siavash. I love building great software, products, and organizations.
By great, I mean creating things that are delightful in quality, performance, and usefulness.
Since I was a kid, I’ve been coding to create, extend, and improve software, making things better, easier, or more accessible. Over my career, this has grown into larger projects and higher levels of abstraction. Today, I focus on building and helping companies create products, organizations, and code to make amazing things happen.
I enjoy the full spectrum of technology and leadership, and I like to traverse it in both depth and breadth. I don’t subscribe to the notion of a strong trade-off between these dimensions; in fact, I believe continuously expanding on both axes improves one’s ability to excel in each.
Practically, I do this by diving deep into technical details and understanding the broader organizational structures that influence how we operate around the technology. My approach to building great products at scale involves continuous adjustment and alignment between the technical and organizational sides.
Outside of work, I occasionally make angel investments and work with founders to help them with go to market and scaling their products and organizations. This helps me stay in touch with the startup landscape and test how my theories and approaches apply across different types of organizations and stages.
