Brilliant People

About five months ago I met a team of absolutely brilliant people with a huge vision and a seemingly limitless drive to pursuit that vision. While an early stage product and limited self-funding might have suggested that I should stay put at my job, my gut feeling suggested otherwise. Maybe it was the intriguing technical discussions I had with Birk about the future technical platform or Carls gift of turning a precisely planned agenda into what feels like a casual meet up of old friends or Kajs magic that makes everything look beautifully obvious in such way that you might think it was your idea to begin with.

Had it not been for Kajs design choices I probably wouldn’t have turned back the first time to look for that beautiful bold Rockwell font for lil’qr. Had it not been for Birk there probably wouldn’t have been the HTML-comment on the page suggesting a Python coding session that caught me, and finally had it not been for Carls ability to during a presentation accurately provide the necessary foundation for the audience to fully grasp the Tictail vision then I probably wouldn’t have been convinced. These series of events is probably highly unlikely at a first glance, but looking back at it all it seems so obvious, almost eye-opening; It’s not unlikely at all. Brilliant people (specifically Birk, Carl & Kaj) with a united vision can and will make anything happen and we’re just getting started.
